Global Education Monitoring Report 2019: Arab States

 

At the end of 2018, thirty two percent of refugees globally lived in Arab States. This regional issue of the Global Education Monitoring Report (GEMR) explores interconnections among migration, displacement, and education.

Drawing on background papers—including one written by REACH team members—this report highlights promising ways in which education can support learning and belonging for both the young people who are migrating and those who are hosting them and the persistent gaps that remain.
